Born out of Bethel University Festival of Christmas rehearsals/meals/shenanigans in which Darwin and Stephen shared a music stand playing trumpet, Kachaka Christmas comes to you out of perhaps a need for something a little lighter this Christmas. Less serious than than a Mack Wilberg choir anthem, and a little less ironic than a Sufjan Stevens psycho-folk-electro-delic "Good King Wenceslas," Kachaka Christmas fills the gap in between (ok, maybe that's a stretch). Named after the ka-cha-ka rhythm on the ukelele throughout each song, it is meant to be enjoyed with frivolous jollity, which we definitely succeeded in doing while making it. Merry Christmas!
